Come and meet your favourite authors of the 9th art!
Come to the Lyon BD (comic book) Festival on the 9th and 10th of June in Lyon city centre.
Original creations by authors, transdisciplinarity, performances and live shows are on the programme of this year’s eclectic, international and contemporary Lyon BD Festival.
200 attending authors await you, pen in hand, for signing sessions and meetings about their works.
From the Hôtel de Ville to Place des Terreaux, and from the Lyon Opera House to the Théâtre Comédie Odéon, authors and artists will take to the stage for an array of meetings, shows, exhibitions and performances.
With the ‘’Festival in’’, you have two days to come with your most treasured comics and have them signed by your favourite authors. You are also very welcome to bring your children, as a special festival has been created just for them – Lyon BD Junior!
With the ‘’Festival off’’, from the 1st to the 30th of June, museums, bars, cinemas and restaurants also await you to celebrate comics in all their forms.
The exhibitions “Lignes d’horizon” (Horizon Lines) on the work of Hugo Pratt at the Musée des Confluences, and “L’Art d’aimer” (The Art of Love) at the Lugdunum Museum are of course also on the festival programme. If you haven’t seen them yet, this is an ideal opportunity!
