After exploring the narrow streets of Vieux-Lyon (Old Lyon), strolling through the Christmas markets or visiting the museums, it offers a welcome break during the busy end-of-year period!
For some locals, a ride on the big wheel is a yearly fixture, while new residents and visitors get to enjoy it for the first time!
Seated in your pod, the panoramic view over the roofs of Lyon, Fourvière and Croix-Rousse is simply magical.
Slowly changing as the hours pass, from morning to sunset and evening, when the city lights up, the view is always beautiful but never the same.
Don’t forget to wear an extra layer or two, because it can get cold up there.

Always smiling, Mathilde comes to us from Franche-Comté (as her lilting accent attests). Besides, she is mad about Franche-Comté cheeses: comté, cancoillotte, mont d’or... And all things comestible, for that matter (she’s a real foodie!). Her secret to staying slim? Physical activity. She loves running along the banks of the Saône, near her home.Her motto?
