Expo Art Urbain
4, rue Boileau - 69006 Lyon 6ème
From the 17th of October to the 20th of December 2020, enter the ephemeral temple of street culture created by ZooArt Show!
Bear, crocodile, rhino and gorilla are returning!
After attracting nearly 60,000 visitors to its first two editions, ZooArt Show is back and bigger than before! Come and discover their new, giant and spectacular exhibition, and become immersed in the world of graffiti, street art and contemporary art.
A new exhibition in a new setting: 120 urban artists are transforming a 4000 m² building, designed by architect Tony Garnier, in the heart of Lyon’s 6th district. Explore the 200 works, ranging from graffiti to contemporary art and photography, displayed in twenty or so rooms, each with its own ambiance: an ideal way to enjoy the exhibition in total safety.
In addition, you will find an art gallery, a live painting space and an art shop created by Atelier Coton… There are also performances by urban dancers and musicians, with demonstrations, introductory classes and competitions. Experience a mind-blowing, totally immersive exhibition featuring B-Boy Lilou (several times winner of the International B-Boy Championships) and other street culture icons.
And, because cuisine is also an art form, Food Traboule are bringing street food to the event, with the chefs of Foodcourt and La Tour Rose serving up sweet and savoury snacks non-stop.
A mouth-watering combo!
The average visit time is 2 hours. For total immersion in street culture, a smartphone and headphones are recommended to make the most of the experience.
Remember to make a reservation and don’t forget your mask!
This exhibition is free with the Lyon City Card (reservation required, subject to availability).
