Smart destination?
Smart tourism means that we use new technologies to make it easier for people to access tourism services. It’s also exciting and it enables us to stay in touch with residents. Smart tourism is intelligent and well thought-out tourism.
Your Smart action?
For Les Bateaux Lyonnais, our Smart initiative will be Navilys boats. These are boats which are powered by electric engines, which are themselves powered by generators, so that means a significant saving. These boats also feature solar panels on their bows, which recharge the batteries that power our bow thruster.
For the future, we are working with VNF - Voies Navigables de France - on 100% electric solutions.
Your favorite spot?
In October this year, we’ll see the opening of the Cité Internationale de la Gastronomie in the Hôtel-Dieu, that wonderfully renovated example of Lyon’s heritage.
