On the heights of the Val de Saône, on the edge of the coastal Dombes, discover this village 15 km northeast of Lyon which covers 826 hectares.

At the birth of the valley, in a place called the Cailloux, near the church whose choir is a thousand years old and whose bell tower carries the cross of Savoy -temoin the belonging of the village to this duchy until in the 16th century, the administrative center developed. The two branches of the horseshoe are lined with old wells, several centuries old crosses, adobe farms, with the south, the castle of Noailleux, in the center the castle of the Dîme, and in the north the castle of Lagrive who all participated to local history.
