This adorable café-restaurant opened a few years back on Place Jules Guesde, in the 7th district.

The recipe for its success is simple (or at least it seems that way): a well-designed and welcoming interior, with a mixture of small and large tables to work on or have afternoon tea with friends or your children (Mums will love the colour-in placemats).

So how about the food?

Mami serves “delicious toasted sandwiches made with farmhouse bread, creative salads, British-flavoured sweets and gourmet snacks, as well as coffee-based drinks, home-made smoothies and craft fruit juices”.

The menu also caters for vegetarians, who will find a recipe for them every day.

Rising with a smile on her face in the morning, always curious and enthusiastic to discover new places (and new dishes) in Lyon, Camille is what the specialists refer to as a « compulsive tester ». More partial to savoury than sweet (even though offering her a praluline – a delicious brioche filled with pralines – is a sure-fire way to get in her good books), Camille devotes herself body and soul to testing new food establishments in Lyon.
