Table Wei
13 rue Neuve - 69001 Lyon 1er
Both French and more far-flung flavours are on the menu of this restaurant in Rue Neuve. Its aim: to share love of good food and cooking by combining the cultures of two countries - China and France.
La Table Wei is aptly named: “Wei” means “taste” in Chinese. This friendly and welcoming restaurant draws diners in with its ultra-creative dishes, its immaculate decoration with the odd flash of colour, and its friendly atmosphere: the good humour of Sun Ruijun and her team is quite contagious.
Sun Ruijun combines true classics of French cuisine with traditional Chinese flavours. A place where refined and unpretentious cuisine go hand in hand.
What do you get if you mix three young graduates from Institut Paul Bocuse with a love of cuisine and their country? A delicious blend of French cuisine and exotic touches. The result: Refined cuisine, made with fresh ingredients, presented with attention to detail and a modern touch. The portions are generous and the flavours are sometimes unique. A real change of scenery, in terms of both the ambiance and the food.
Julie was not born in Lyon, but she did decide to start her family here! Not that long ago, she would spend most of her evenings out at concerts... Although she has already bought ear defenders for her little 19-month-old boy, so that he can discover the joys of live rock and electronic music (soon!), she is now much more of a morning person as a mother.
