Born into a family with a passion for cooking and ‘eating well’, the Dorner brothers have combined their expertise, their similarities and their differences to build their business around one idea: authenticity.
Located right in the centre of Lyon's sixth arrondissement, to the sound of an enchanting playlist, the Dorner Frères patisserie has been designed as a real place to live. Its home-made products are based on the expertise of the company's pastry chefs, all under the guidance of Chefs Maxime and Gauthier Dorner.
In a clean-lined design and with the smell of freshly baked brioches, you can enjoy the House's creations. Coffees from Lyon roaster EXTRAIT, freshly squeezed fruit juices and teas are available in the shop or in the outdoor lounge to accompany your gourmet break.
As soon as the shop opens, you can enjoy a crisp or fluffy breakfast with flaky brioche, madeleines, cookies or a complete breakfast.
Maxime and Gauthier have put together a menu of traditional pastries, featuring both classic pastries and inventive creations.The team come up with new desserts like hay-almond entremet, Tropézienne-style puff pastry brioche, peach-verbena entremet...
Paced by their desires and the fruit seasons, Maxime and Gauthier work with what nature has to offer.The brothers' creations, no matter how spontaneous, are made using fresh produce.
