For children in Lyon, the school holiday starts on the 9th February 2018… Here are a few ideas to ensure their (and your) holiday is a success…
My ideal holiday programme is a good lie-in followed by a protracted breakfast… But the truth of the matter when you have two lovely children resides more in being able to juggle between relaxation and culture, punctuated by moments devoted to letting off steam in between!
Here are the things I have ticked on my list:
Relaxation: a trip to a museum. All museums often organise entertainment for children and provide game booklets to keep kids busy during their visit.
Lugdunum is also included, and its "Aqua" exhibition is a big hit! Don't miss the bonus at the end of the visit: your kids get to dress up in Gallo-Roman clothing!"Soierie Vivante" also hosts a weaving workshop for kids.
Within the scope of the Tim Burton season at the Institut Lumière, don't miss "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory". It's a firm favourite in our home. And don't forget to pay a visit to Mini World. You'll love it!
To let off steam, you can have a ride on the big wheel in Place Bellecour, have a spin on one or two of the fairground rides in Luna Park and above all, go for a walk in Tête d’Or Park! On site, don't miss the zoological park and the African savannah. You can also have a ride on a pony or quadricycle, and make the most of the playgrounds! Your kids will be delighted.
Simply put, what with the walks and outings, and museums and workshops, there's no chance of you getting bored!
Laetitia is a real ray of sunshine. Needless to say, there's no chance of getting bored when working by her side! Whether she's cheerful or glum, she's wont to burst into song, with tunes that tend to stick in your mind all day. Well where's the fun in a non-catchy song?

Thousands of animated scenes of life, hundreds of vehicles travelling independently, vast landscapes and a blaze of lights... That is the spectacle...
