Over the space of three days and two nights, the Urban Art Jungle festival – initiated by the lively gallery Superposition – will be taking over the Le Croiseur cultural centre in Lyon’s 7th district. All kinds of artists, including extreme graffiti artists, colourful performers, and other musicians (of an electronic persuasion), will be given a free hand to transform the centre’s 2000 m² to their taste. We can’t wait!
This is a superb opportunity for complete beginners to discover street art. It’s also worth noting that this fourth edition of the festival will feature a creators’ market and participative workshops, including a number of workshops for children: stencil art, origami, customisation of ceramics, sticker production, screen printing on clothes and, of course, graffiti art. While the children practise new artistic skills to bring home, parents can refuel at one of the many food trucks that will be present for the occasion.
Urban Art Jungle Festival
On February, 23th (from 6 pm to 5 am), 24th (from 11 pm to 5 am) and 25th (from 11 am to 8 pm) at Croiseur: 4 rue Croix Barret, Lyon 7th.
Prices: free under 7, days pass: €5/6.
