Lieux divers Villa Gillet, Parc de la Cerisaie, Bibliothèque Municipale de Lyon, Les Subs, Théâtre des Célestins - 69123 Lyon

For both avid and occasional readers, this festival offers opportunities to meet authors and journalists from around the world, to debate, think about, and compare viewpoints on major topics that make for the greatness and misery of humanity, from courage and dissidence to feelings, sensations and impressions, femininity, childhood, creation, memory, exile, violence, politics, religion and climate, as well as subjects related to linguistics, storytelling, novel characters, word choices, writing style and more.
Alongside the meetings, debates and conferences, there are readings and signing sessions, as well as a pop-up book shop, where you can get book recommendations and have them signed by their authors!
Many events will be held throughout the Lyon urban area, in museums, book shops and cinemas, for this major literature festival.

Isabelle

Isabelle, our editor born and bred in Lyon! She was born in Sainte-Foy-lès-Lyon in fact, studied in Lyon and now lives here. Territorial? Absolutely not! She loves travelling, widening her horizons, meeting new people and enjoys a change of scenery (without snow, if possible). Isabelle is curious and a people person, two attributes that often go hand in hand! Her favourite colour is green and her motto "a day without laughter is a day wasted!"
