The 27th of April 2018 marked the starting point for the opening of a completely renovated and repurposed landmark site in Lyon. An eagerly anticipated event for the residents of Lyon and a festival lasting until the 21st of June 2018.
This year, we will enjoy spring punctuated by weekly events staged until the first day of summer, to celebrate the eagerly awaited re-opening of the Hôtel-Dieu, after 4 years of work. Lyon’s residents feel close to this key building in the city, either because they have worked there, been cared for there or were born there!
The 27th of April marks the launch of an original festival, which will allow everyone to familiarise themselves with the site and to make it a genuine place for living and sharing unforgettable experiences – wellbeing, culture, art and leisure. The scene is set!

Isabelle, our editor born and bred in Lyon! She was born in Sainte-Foy-lès-Lyon in fact, studied in Lyon and now lives here. Territorial? Absolutely not!
