Musée des Confluences
It is one of the latest great contemporary museums which alone are enough to justify a trip to Lyon. So of course, you wouldn't miss this visit for...
From the 7th of April 2018 to the 24th of March 2019, at the Musée des Confluences
In the minds of those familiar with his work, the name Hugo Pratt immediately conjures up the silhouette of Corto Maltese, the romantic and enigmatic sailor, adventurer and explorer of faraway lands, from the “Great North” to the “Great Ocean”.
This exhibition at the Musée des Confluences is devoted to the discovery of this exceptional cartoonist and his influences, insatiable curiosity and imagination, which was fed by his travels across the world’s continents and oceans, his reading and his taste for encounters and wonder. Scenes from his comic strips are shown alongside objects from the museum’s collections.
An immersive exhibition and an invitation to travel.
Entrance to the museum and exhibition is free with the Lyon City Card
Isabelle, our editor born and bred in Lyon! She was born in Sainte-Foy-lès-Lyon in fact, studied in Lyon and now lives here. Territorial? Absolutely not! She loves travelling, widening her horizons, meeting new people and enjoys a change of scenery (without snow, if possible). Isabelle is curious and a people person, two attributes that often go hand in hand! Her favourite colour is green and her motto "a day without laughter is a day wasted!"
