Picasso shines in Lyon
From the 17th of October 2019 to the 2nd of February 2020, La Sucrière is hosting a world premiere of the immersive exhibition IMAGINE PICASSO, created by Annabelle Mauger and Julien Baron, in collaboration with architect Rudy Ricciotti and art historian Androula Michael.
Visitors wander amongst giant pictures. They discover more than 200 of Picasso’s paintings through “Total Images”. This artistic approach plunges the viewer into the heart of the artist’s painted works to explore their details. In an abundance of continuous flow, the paintings jump out of their frames to take up more space.
This immersive exhibition offers a fresh perspective of Picasso’s oeuvre. An artistic and fun experience that is accessible to all.

Isabelle, our editor born and bred in Lyon! She was born in Sainte-Foy-lès-Lyon in fact, studied in Lyon and now lives here. Territorial? Absolutely not! She loves travelling, widening her horizons, meeting new people and enjoys a change of scenery (without snow, if possible). Isabelle is curious and a people person, two attributes that often go hand in hand! Her favourite colour is green and her motto "a day without laughter is a day wasted!"
