The first two weeks of July are swinging in Vienne.
From the 28th of June to the 13th of July 2019, the festival's huge line-up (with more than 1000 artists!) will perform on four different stages, as they explore the many, colourful worlds of jazz! There will also be many free concerts during the day, on the city's terraces.
The stage of the ancient theatre will welcome many major international artists from the jazz and world music scenes.
A few of the names in the line-up of this 39th edition: Hocus Pocus and their jazzy, funky and soulful hip hop, Bobby McFerrin and Gimme 5, the incredibly talented vocalist (who wrote the song ‘Don’t Worry, Be Happy’!), Christophe Chassol and Belgian cartoonist Brecht Evens who perform a live “drawn concert”, and John Zorn in a Bagatelles Marathon, during which 14 groups (rock, jazz or classical) take turns in interpreting his works!
An exceptional setting and atmosphere for exceptional artists!
Some other artists: Jamiroquai, Joan Baez, Diana Krall, Thomas Dutronc, Chick Corea, Charlie Winston, Kassav, Chilly Gonzalès…

She loves travelling, widening her horizons, meeting new people and enjoys a change of scenery (without snow, if possible).
