Over the course of 48 hours, there will be a rapid succession of performances, meetings, signing sessions, shows and more, featuring comics and some 200 guest authors.
All styles and techniques will be represented, with an international outlook.

Comic art fans will be treated to an eclectic and contemporary programme that provides an intersection of various artistic disciplines, original works and the international comic book scene.

Among the guests will be: Alex W. Inker, Charlie Adlard (The Walking Dead), Alfred (Come Prima), Charles Berberian, Catherine Meurisse (Les Grands espaces), Pénélope Bagieu (Brazen: Rebel Ladies Who Rocked the World), Chloé Cruchaudet (La Croisade des Innocents), Marc Dubuisson (Amour, Djihad et RTT), Fabrice Erre (Le Roux), Emilie Gleason (Ted Drôle de Coco), Aude Picault (L'air de rien), Reinhard Kleist (Nick Cave - Mercy on me), Elodie Shanta (Crevette), Florence dupré La Tour (Carnage), Bill Morrison (The Simpsons) and Luke McGarry (MAD Magazine).

The Palais de la Bourse, once again occupied by the festival, and the Town Hall will both constitute the nucleus of the event. The two venues will host 40 exhibitors, art schools, publishers and bookshops, as well as provide the location for a selection of panels, shows and signings.
For younger visitors, Lyon BD Junior will be held at the Hôtel de Ville, where younger fans will be able to enjoy their own unique festival.

The festival will be an opportunity to see them at work, listen to them and browse their comics on the stands at the Palais de la Bourse.

Exhibitions

> For the first time, the Museum of contemporary art will put on an exhibition of British artist Charlie Adlard, and more specifically of his work on the The Walking Dead series.
> The creations of Alexandre Fontaine Rousseau and Elodie Shanta will be shown at Lugdunum Museum and Roman Theaters. > At the Parc LPA-Fosse aux ours, Marc-Antoine Mathieu has been given free rein for his creativity and will exhibit “Le sel et le ciel…”.

Finally, the Opéra de Lyon and Comédie Odéon theatre will play host to a programme of panels, performances and live shows.

While the festival itself will only last for one (very packed!) weekend, associated events will be happening throughout the month of June!
