SILK IN LYON brings together around a hundred professionals over 4 days at the Palais de la Bourse in Lyon, including major brands and traditional Maisons, as well as young designers who are breathing new life into the sector. The event showcases the diversity of the sector and its production. Fabrics, accessories, jewellery, decorative items and cosmetics: exhibitors unveil their collections and reveal the secrets behind their expertise. There's something for every taste and every age!

SILK IN LYON features a series of educational and participatory workshops. The event offers a complete and concrete overview of the French silk industry through 6 key stages: sericulture (silkworm rearing), reeling and milling, weaving, design creation, frame printing and finishing.

Cultural players and artists are committed to highlighting the history, heritage and creativity of the silk industry. The SILK IN LYON programme includes exhibitions, conferences and artistic events that combine fun and education. SILK IN LYON is organised by UNITEX, a textile trade organisation, in partnership with the City of Lyon, the Metropole of Lyon and the Auvergne Rhône-Alpes Region.
