This year, from the 7th of June to the 1st of September 2018, the opera is inviting us to a genuine summer festival beneath the arcade of its peristyle.

There are no less than 75 evening concerts on the programme, featuring jazz and world music from all the continents!
Every evening at 7, 8.15 and 10 pm, you can enjoy a relaxing musical break at the café-jazz as you sip a drink beneath the shade of the arcade.
These free concerts offer a musical journey ranging from Brazil to Columbia, New York to the Balkans, and Africa to London, via Portugal, Italy or France.

Isabelle, our editor born and bred in Lyon! She was born in Sainte-Foy-lès-Lyon in fact, studied in Lyon and now lives here. Territorial? Absolutely not! She loves travelling, widening her horizons, meeting new people and enjoys a change of scenery (without snow, if possible). Isabelle is curious and a people person, two attributes that often go hand in hand! Her favourite colour is green and her motto "a day without laughter is a day wasted!"
