With close to 50 car parks, both public and private, 22 of which are located at historic sites throughout Lyon, the city provides practical and secure parking solutions. Some car parks are so lovely that people appreciate them as a work of art!

Exclusive to Lyon!

Lyon Parc Auto has opted for a dynamic and federative option that includes functionality and aesthetics. Car parks here have been designed by world famous architects and artists. Guided tours of these car parks are organised on a regular basis.

You can opt for the urban parking formula with parking meters. There are different zones (P1 being the most expensive ones, as they are located in the city centre) where different rates apply.

Reserve before arriving in order to be guaranteed a space with priority access!
There are two ways to do this:

On the website www.parking.lpa.fr
With the LPA&CO app (in French), you can enter car parks with your smartphone by taking the lane dedicated to subscribers, who benefit from priority access.
The app can also help you find a private parking space (other than in traditional car parks) and reserve it at the best price, for the duration of your choice.

Since 01/01/2021, reservations can be made for the following car parks: Antonin Poncet, Célestins, Cordeliers, Fosse aux Ours, Hôtel de Ville, Les Halles, Morand, République, Saint-Georges et Saint-Jean. Between now and June, 25 car parks will be made available for reservation.

Tariffs:

The weekend rate applies from Friday to Monday noon;
Price for a weekend: between €40 and 50 depending on the car park (ex: République/50€ - Fosse aux Ours/40€),
Reservation: standard rates apply with a €3 reservation fee. The reservation fee is waived until 30 April 2021 with the code "LPA2021"

Smart move: in August, park in Lyon free of charge!

From the 1st to the 31st August, you can save money and park for free!

Most of the available street parking spaces, approximately 30,000 spaces, will be free of charge in August. They can be found in the "Chrono" and "Tempo" pay zones. But please be aware that the 2,500 parking spaces in the Presto P1 and nocturnal P4 zones will not be free. These are mainly situated on the Presqu'île.
