The initial aim of the project was to enhance neglected heritage and occupy an abandoned site until it found a new life. The result: A 1200 m² community space promoting exchanges in the fields of culture and art.
There is the Comptoir des Halles where you can meet friends for a drink, colleagues for a work session, or simply read a good book. Then, there is a space dedicated to residencies for artists and actors in the social and solidarity economy, for mutually enriching exchanges of ideas!
Les Halles du Faubourg is also a venue for contemporary art exhibitions, allowing visitors to freely explore the works on display. If you want to let your hair down, come here on Friday for after-work drinks or, if you’re feeling peckish, make sure you don’t miss the Sunday brunches!

Julie was not born in Lyon, but she did decide to start her family here! Not that long ago, she would spend most of her evenings out at concerts... Although she has already bought ear defenders for her little 19-month-old boy, so that he can discover the joys of live rock and electronic music (soon!), she is now much more of a morning person as a mother.
