The Festival of Lights has become a not-to-be-missed event for discovering the city from a different angle. For 8 December, Soierie Vivante is offering, as it does every year, extra time over 2 days to visit its two weaving workshops. These demonstrations will give you the chance to learn more about the history of Lyon and weaving, and will be a good starting point for wandering around the illuminated city afterwards.
