If you're tired of conformity and putting people and things in boxes, then this is the place for you. Le Cartel leads a double life: it is a coffee shop by day and a cocktail bar by night. But that’s not all! It is also a co-working space, a residence for artists and much more...
You can come here one day for a drink with friends, come back the next for a yoga class, followed by a chat with the artists exhibiting on the second floor, and attend an inspiring conference the following week.
Le Cartel is all of the above and, above all, a family-run business that has created a true community space.
Julie was not born in Lyon, but she did decide to start her family here! Not that long ago, she would spend most of her evenings out at concerts... Although she has already bought ear defenders for her little 19-month-old boy, so that he can discover the joys of live rock and electronic music (soon!), she is now much more of a morning person as a mother.
