Situated in the Tete d'Or Park and inaugurated on 19 June 1964, the gardens cover 5 hectares and contain 5,000,000 roses.

The International Rosepark

The Roseraie of the botanical garden traces the history of the rose through a collection of wild and historic roses.
The Contest Roseraie, dedicated to the creation of new varieties, hosts each year the International Contest of new roses.
In 2006, Lyon was awarded the Osaka Rosetta of Excellence for excellence, a label that benefits only 22 parks in the world!
