Minéralia
6 rue du Palais de Justice - 69005 Lyon 5ème
Minéralia is a small family shop, a cabinet of natural curiosities, which offers minerals, fossils and jewelry, from €1 to a museum piece, run by a warm and passionate team.
Minéralia was founded in 2001 by Eric Granon, a geologist with degrees from Grenoble and Nancy.
There are currently two shops dedicated to individuals: the one in Romans-sur-Isère, managed by his wife Myriam for 14 years, and the one in Lyon, managed by their daughter Meva for 8 years, taking over the former Pierres de Chances boutique, one of Lyon's pioneers in the minerals sector.
The takeover has breathed new life into this institution, led by a close-knit and dynamic team that offers unusual, rare, extraordinary, and classic items centered around stone. Eric, with over 30 years of experience in the industry, manages sales to professionals, small stores, and major museums such as Futuroscope, the Cité des Sciences, and the Catacombes.
It's first and foremost a Franco-Malagasy family business that began with minerals and fossils from Madagascar and eventually expanded to include treasures from around the world. "Our job is to share with you our passion, curiosity, and knowledge about the mineral world," a true geological and historical journey for young and old, accessible in the heart of Lyon. You'll find over 500 varieties, including rough stones, worked stones, pebbles, prisms, decorative items, figurines, and sculptures, as well as dinosaur reproductions, fossils of all kinds, rings, bracelets, necklaces, pendants, earrings, unique pieces, and personalized jewelry, all sold within a responsible approach (reduced middlemen, traceable and ethical products, and artisanal jewelry).
Meva and her team welcome you and offer attentive advice, taking the time to adapt to your needs in a cheerful and relaxed atmosphere.
