Flavour because we select and taste our products before displaying them on our (hand-made) wooden shelves. Flavour is our top priority, and we always choose the expertise of artisans over industrial production, even when it’s organic! We work mainly with local, environmentally responsible producers, and we also offer a selection of British and Italian specialities alongside our range of delicious French products.
Flair because we aim to present our wares in a way that complements the style and atmosphere of the shop. Aesthetics are important to us because we want you to enjoy every aspect of your shopping experience.
Friendliness because we plan to make you welcome as soon as you walk through the door. More than a shop, Patate is a living space where we feel good, and we like to share our good vibes with our customers every day.
Our opening hours have been designed to fit your needs. We’re open until 8pm from Tuesday to Saturday, and on Sundays we’ve found that opening at the end of the afternoon is just right for people coming home for a weekend away or enjoying a walk along the river. Whenever you come in, you’ll find artisan ice creams, locally roasted coffee, artisan soaps and cosmetics, fruit and vegetables, organic cold cuts and other fresh produce, organic wines, craft beers, spices, sugar alternatives, and exclusive chocolates. And that’s just a small sample of the range of delicious products that we have lovingly selected.
You can also take a little time to enjoy a drink and a freshly made cookie on the benches outside the shop whilst you contemplate the beautiful views over the river.
