Histoires d'Art Bijouterie Joaillerie
26 rue Paul Chenavard - 69001 Lyon 1er
A craftsmen and jeweller, successor to Maison Goineau. Production of gold and silver jewellery inspired by Romanesque architecture (11th and 12th century) in France.
In Lyon, since the 19th century, the Maison Goineau has been perpetuating the traditions of creative custom jewelry with a commitment to quality and artisanal expertise. In 1991, Gilles Goineau created a collection of regional historical jewelry, "Goineau Art Roman," entirely crafted in the company's workshops.
In this boutique, you'll find jewelry and objects inspired by the decorations of Romanesque buildings. These historical jewels—wedding bands, medals, rings, bracelets, necklaces, pendants, bookmarks, magnifying glasses, letter openers, wayside crosses, and collectible thimbles—are sculpted and chiseled to faithfully reproduce the various types of sculpture.
In 2008, the Maison Goineau in Lyon became "Histoires d'Art...", a boutique-workshop whose name reflects the spirit of the former company.
"Histoires d’Art…" enriches the prestigious Goineau collection of historic Romanesque art jewelry and creates collections inspired by regional architecture and heritage, such as a collection of Lyon jewelry that draws inspiration from the city's buildings, ranging from the Middle Ages to neoclassical styles.
"Histoires d’Art…" offers custom creation of classic and contemporary pieces, transformations, restoration of antique jewelry, repairs, and pearl specialist, restringing pearls and hard stones in the workshop (free quotes).
