Throughout the exhibition, meet six real people, known thanks to the precious inscriptions (epitaphs) in the museum's
museum collections.
They came from the four corners of the Empire and all lived or stayed in Lugdunum.
Discover the major stages in the life of each person, from their homeland to their geographical and social background.
Through the life stories of each person, understand the diversity of social, political, religious and linguistic contexts within the Roman Empire and the way in which individuals managed to reconcile these different backgrounds.
