Festival Chapelle Sauvage_Lyon 2ème

A festival on the theme of nature, dedicated to Antonio Vivaldi on the 300th anniversary of the Four Seasons, the naturalist hymn and universal masterpiece that opened the 1725 cycle of violin concertos Il cimento dell'armonia e dell'invenzione.

Two imaginative rewritings of the famous music score will mark the event: the one by Danish composer Karl-Aage Rasmussen, performed by Le Concert de l'Hostel Dieu, and Max Richter's famous “rework” in a chamber version.

Over the three days, the Chapelle de la Trinité will be transformed into a wild aviary with l'Engoulevent, a sound installation by Clément Vercelletto, an “ornithomix” listening session with Dizonord and even an aerial circus performance!
