Heritage Days 2023: the light
This year, the European Heritage Days will be exploring Lyon's heritage through the prism of light, a theme that is so dear to the history of our region. How is light historically and traditionally linked to Lyon's heritage? To its architecture? To its spiritual and esoteric heritage? When does light become lighting, and how is lighting characteristic of Lyon's world-renowned expertise? How does it play a part in artistic creation, and how does it influence know-how?

At the crossroads between collective history and individual stories, between the tangible and the intangible, this edition of the EHD looks at a heritage that is constantly changing and that, even today, is helping to build a collective identity for the city.
