With the support of leading teachers in their respective fields, the school aims to help students master their art and to promote creativity, humanism and culture.
The Nadia Boulanger media library houses more than 42,000 documents, 28,750 scores, 6500 books on music, 3850 textbooks, 4120 sound recordings and 20 CD-ROMs.
There are also 200 websites that can be accessed by a keyword in a title, author or topic.Small or large orchestras (classical music), as well as dancers, are available for evening events.
The Lyon CNSMD puts on a programme of public events and works in partnership with other cultural institutions.
