At just 34 years old, Maxime Laurenson has already worked alongside some of the greatest chefs, including Mathieu Viannay, Jean Sulpice, and Julien Roucheteau.

The Rustique restaurant's keyword is 'conviviality'! The decoration is inspired by nature and the farming world, the friendly front-of-house team will take care of your every need, there is limited capacity inside the restaurant and the kitchen is open onto the dining room. All of this and more will ensure you feel instantly at home here.

Maxime Laurenson grew up in the small village of Saint-Just-Malmont, south of Saint-Etienne, surrounding by farming land and fields and with a great-grandmother who was a passionate cook. His rustic and gourmet style of cuisine is largely inspired by his childhood, out in the open-air and always with plenty of great food on the family table.

For the opening of this first restaurant, Maxime Laurenson made sure he brought together a highly talented team to work by his side, including his wife Hélène and their friend Jean-Philippe Durand.
