Isabelle

Isabelle, our editor born and bred in Lyon! She was born in Sainte-Foy-lès-Lyon in fact, studied in Lyon and now lives here. Territorial? Absolutely not! She loves travelling, widening her horizons, meeting new people and enjoys a change of scenery (without snow, if possible). Isabelle is curious and a people person, two attributes that often go hand in hand! Her favourite colour is green and her motto "a day without laughter is a day wasted!"

But more than anything else, Isabelle loves music and is second soprano singer in a choir (of 80 people!) When it comes to baroque music, she's our own personal Wikipedia, and capable of teaching you more over lunch than you could ever learn in several hours of music theory! So when she says that Bach is perfectly modern, you've no reason to doubt her. Change the rhythm and you have jazz. All kinds of singing and music are the two things that really make her heart soar. Have you ever been in love with a voice? Isabelle has!

Apart from that she adooores her family, her friends, her cat (a blue-eyed Sacred Cat of Burma), a sense of humour, words, the arts, and Lyon for ever and a day!
