The festival that puts Lyon and Europe in the hot spot!

The aim of the Attable festival from 16th to 18th March is to turn Lyon into the “Berlin of Cuisine”! Needless to say, we can't wait!

5 locations, 40 chefs from Lyon, Paris and across Europe, and the joint association of Arty Farty (organisers for Nuits Sonores) and Grand Cuisine (cutting-edge culinary event organisers). The first “prototype” edition of the Attable festival is already much talked about and its objective is simple: to mix and shake up culinary life in Lyon, and to turn the city into a playground, an area devoted to freedom and expression in creative European cuisine for a whole weekend.

The event will include performances, dinners prepared by two chefs working hand in hand, conferences, and even an all-night food event (a NON-STOP meal throughout the night between Saturday and Sunday!)

More than enough to send local taste buds into a frenzy!

The list of chefs who have already confirmed that they will be taking part is enough to make your mouth water! Busy in the kitchens we will find Arnaud Laverdin and Remy Havetz (La Bijouterie), Benjamin Sanchez (À la piscine), Christian Têtedoie and Florent Poulard (Monsieur P), Florian Remont (Le Bistrot du Potager), Connie Zagora and Laurent Ozan (Kitchen Café), Grégory and Thibaut Cuilleron (Cinq Mains), Jérémy Galvan and Katsumi Ishida (En mets fais ce qu’il te plait), Mathieu Rostaing-Tayard (Café Sillon), Tabata and Ludovic Mey (Les Apothicaires), the recently star-rated Takao Takano, and last but not least Tsuyoshi Arai (Au 14 février, awarded a Michelin star). And that's only the list of chefs from Lyon: the kitchens will also be crammed full of a wonderful selection of French and International chefs such as Chiho Kanzaki (Virtus, Paris), Lukas Mraz (Mraz und Sohn, Vienna), Jessica Rosval (Modena) or Nicolai Nørregaard (kadeau, Copenhagen).

In addition to a cutting-edge food programme, this Festival, jointly-organised by Arty Farty, will also be giving pride of place to culture: music, the literary arts and cinema.

And all this is yet a small piece of what you can expect from the Festival!

Camille

Rising with a smile on her face in the morning, always curious and enthusiastic to discover new places (and new dishes) in Lyon, Camille is what the specialists refer to as a « compulsive tester ». More partial to savoury than sweet (even though offering her a praluline – a delicious brioche filled with pralines – is a sure-fire way to get in her good books), Camille devotes herself body and soul to testing new food establishments in Lyon. Her radar for new addresses is legendary.
