The best of micro-brewing
You have been warned! On the 21st and 22nd of April 2018, it is going to smell of hops at La Sucrière! For lovers of organic, craft, local and different beers, this is where it is all happening!
The Lyon Beer Festival has raised the bar once again for its third edition. The festival elevates beer to the status of a practically sacred and gastronomic beverage and will offer you the opportunity to have an immersive cultural, festive and gourmet beer experience. Over these two days, you can switch between discussions, tastings, beer pairing, visits to the Festival bars, or the "beer & mix" evening with a more electronic programme.
For the rebels out there (boooo!), it seems that you will even be able to find cider and whiskey! And of course, if you are hungry, you can go to the food trucks which will range from Madamann's pancakes to Tripopote's tricycle, by way of Bonne Dôze's crozets (pasta dish originally from the Savoy region) or L'Usine à Patates' potatoes (there is a bit of everything)!
At the same time, a fringe programme has also been organised at various venues around Lyon.
To see the full programme, and in particular the cultural events and discussions (don't think that we are going to let you just taste the beer!), visit: https://www.lyonbierefestival.fr/programmation.html#intro

Rising with a smile on her face in the morning, always curious and enthusiastic to discover new places (and new dishes) in Lyon, Camille is what the specialists refer to as a « compulsive tester ». More partial to savoury than sweet (even though offering her a praluline – a delicious brioche filled with pralines – is a sure-fire way to get in her good books), Camille devotes herself body and soul to testing new food establishments in Lyon. Her radar for new addresses is legendary.
