Summer kicks off on June 21st with consecutive events every day that promise both carefree moments and discovery.

With party and conviviality at its heart, this packed programme offers some 300 free outdoor events featuring both new and established artists. There will be music, theatre, dance, cinema and even games and sports!

In a laid-back environment, enjoy concerts, plays or dance performances, learn tango, capoeira or Breton dances. Sit under the trees in a park and take part in a giant picnic, move around, do some fitness or yoga, dance at the renaissance ball, go check out a movie or an opera under the stars, take urban strolls, play with your kids, etc.

An invitation to discover new artists, to dream, meet, learn, move around and be enthralled – in other words, to live summer in Lyon to the fullest!

Isabelle, our editor born and bred in Lyon! She was born in Sainte-Foy-lès-Lyon in fact, studied in Lyon and now lives here. Territorial? Absolutely not!
