Maison Martin Morel
19 rue René Leynaud Passage Thiaffait - 69001 Lyon 1er
Have you ever liked a curtain so much you want to wear it? I have. It was a Martin Morel!
With over “a century of patterns”, this historical fabric printing establishment with hundreds of designs is constantly revisiting its classic prints for contemporary fashion, home textiles and accessory collections, all bursting with beauty!
The countless designs are a reflection of times past, but at some point they always come back into fashion, enhanced by Emmanuel (the great grandson of Martin Morel) and the establishment’s in-house designers, which leave their mark both on their fabrics and in our minds!
Bonus point: This ambition to reawaken heritage inspired the Théâtre des Célestins, which chose the ‘Corail’ pattern, born in 1900, to dress its team!
Rising with a smile on her face in the morning, always curious and enthusiastic to discover new places (and new dishes) in Lyon, Camille is what the specialists refer to as a « compulsive tester ». More partial to savoury than sweet (even though offering her a praluline – a delicious brioche filled with pralines – is a sure-fire way to get in her good books), Camille devotes herself body and soul to testing new food establishments in Lyon. Her radar for new addresses is legendary.
